★ DES Deputy Status ★

DES Deputies:
You'll want to pay attention, because your status as a Squad member could be on the line.

But first, let's recap a couple of things!

★ Handling the Taskforce ★

It's imperative to begin this by saying that this is YOUR squad.
Your DES Captain, ^allhopeislost, is for now only handling the complicated task of making Final decisions and doing the tedious formatting work so that your life is stress-free.

Even so, it should be stressed that your opinions matter.

If you're a Deputy and want to get together with ^allhopeislost with an idea you have to do a certain something, don't hesitate to drop a note. Don't be bashful. Say what you think, and if it's feasible and furthers the Squad in some way, the chances are very high it will get done.

Now on to the important stuff...

We're all about the fun, and plenty of room for was made intentionally for everyone to slack whenever necessary. Still, we all take the DES seriously. We do because we care a great deal about getting new people seen in our Gallery, which is why we're all volunteering to take on this awesome project.

★ Rewarding You! ★

The goal is encouragement and reward of your hard work!
However, in order to do this we have to weed out the lurkers, the extraordinarily lazy, and those who are plainly apathetic to our philanthropic goals.

We need full-time, permanent people on the DES who are going to contribute 99.999% of the time. So as of now, having cleared our first article and waited so long on a major setback, who contributes and who doesn't will be being kept track of.

This will happen using a Colored Bullet system before our names. These status symbols (bullets) will come in sets of five, each bullet representing a completed article. When any of us reach the fifth bullet, we'll start over again back at one.

★ Squad Status Beacons ★

Probationary Status:
Blue Bullets = Contributed to completed article. 5 of these in a row will upgrade your status to White.
Red Bullets = Did not contribute to completed article. 2 of these in a row and you will be asked to step down to allow someone on the waiting list to take your position.

^{RED BULLET NOTE: Exceptions can and will be made for real-life circumstances. If something comes up, please do take a moment to drop a note and we'll avoid hitting that red bullet!}


Upgraded Status:
White Bullets = Awarded to those who successfully contribute to 5 articles in a row. I will make these Squad members into "Marshals", and award them with a new styled badge. As well, Marshals will always keep their White bullets, and will no longer be held accountable for contributing or not. They are permanent members of the DES until they choose to step down or are dismissed by me for some other reason.

Founder Status:
Black Bullet = Black bullets indicate the special founder status. Basically it denotes who's in charge. until the DES grows much larger, it's unlikely to see anyone aside from ^allhopeislost with this bullet, but this could change under a very special circumstance.

As well, for those of you who choose to work with your Captain on anything DES related outside of our Articles, I'll assign you a new Rank slot on the Tracking Center and Chatroom to highlight your role on the squad.
